The latest from our house -

We seem to be back in the "normal" routine of Foxworthy life. I can't believe that it actually takes us a whole month to settle back in after the holidays, but with an after-Christmas Bible study white elephant party and Aunt Holly's birthday just over this week, our calendar is finally looking open. Thus it figures that my main activity today was trying to figure out summer camping dates online.

Since my last blog entry, we have experienced a brief, odd timed spring, with temperature highs in the 70's. So we started some outside projects. The main one is the tree house! Right now it is a six foot high +/- platform with a trap door. Cody thinks it is the greatest thing ever. The walls are built in the garage, but now we are on the hunt for siding. Jeff knew when he was making the plans that the materials would add up in price, but it's starting to make a noticable dent in his play money. We are hoping for the free part of craigslist to all of a sudden have left over siding and roofing material. You never know.

Aimee's latest thing is being a "helper." She helps with laundry, as you can see in the picture above, and she also loves to help me cook. It's still at the point where having a helper is more work than not, but it sure is fun to see her feel important. She worked so hard to cut that mushroom for our spaghetti sauce, and she got lots of statisfaction out being able to tell the boys that she made dinner.

Not much else is going on here. Hope all is well with you!
