We've been waiting for this time! Cody and Aimee really play together. When Cody wakes up in the morning, he whines and pouts for the opportunity to see if Aimee is awake yet, and Aimee cheers at the sight of her brother who can play the monster about to attack her at one moment and her hero the next. But with all the love and affection and hours of happy they put into each day, there are a couple hours of pure torture. Luckily, when I look at the picture above my heart warms and I feel all gushy inside.
Tonight's funny moment - Both kids ate a good dinner and were rewarded with little scoops of ice-cream. Cody set out the bowls and in the rush and excitment of ice-cream made his sister stop and pray over their dessert. I had to giggle. Their little hands were folded and heads bowed. Aimee didn't even peek. Who knew ice-cream could inspire such devotion!
